Nestled along the quiet shores of Meadow Lark Lake, our cabin-style lodgings blend rustic Wyoming charm with refined comfort — a place to unplug, breathe, and remember what stillness feels like.
Meadowlark Lodge sits where the pavement ends and the water begins — a narrow stretch of Wyoming shoreline that most travelers drive right past. That's exactly why we built it.
Every cabin is oriented toward the lake. Every window catches the morning light the way it did fifty years ago. We don't do mini-fridges or ice machines; we do wood-burning fireplaces, screen porches, and the kind of silence that makes you forget your phone exists.

Quiet Moments
Each cabin is a standalone structure with its own name, its own porch, and its own view of the water. No shared walls. No hallway traffic. Just you and the lake.
Our highest-elevation cabin, perched above the treeline with panoramic lake views. King bed, stone fireplace, and a wraparound deck that catches every sunset.
Our most popular family cabin. Two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a screened porch where you'll hear the loons call before you fall asleep. Steps from the water's edge.
A compact retreat for two, tucked into the pines with zero street visibility. Mezzanine bedroom, copper sink, and a stone tub that faces the forest — not the parking lot.
All rates vary by season. Call (307) 366-2429 for current availability and pricing.
We provide rods, tackle, and a hand-drawn map of the best spots. No guided tours, no schedules — just you, a chair on the dock, and whatever bites when it bites.
The forest around Meadow Lark Lake has paths most GPS maps haven't found. We'll point you toward the ones with the best views and the fewest footprints.
Some days, the plan is the no-plan. Read on the porch. Watch the water. Let the kettle boil. This isn't an itinerary — it's permission to waste time well.
"We came for three days and stayed five. The cabin was exactly as described — rustic but thoughtfully appointed. The lake was still enough to see the mountains reflected perfectly at dawn. We didn't see another soul except a loon."

"Brought my parents here for their anniversary. They've been together 42 years and said this was the most relaxing trip they've ever taken. The kids loved the dock. We all did."

"I work remote and needed a change of scenery. Wired internet was spotty — which turned out to be the best part. Wrote more in three days here than I do in three months at my desk."

Note: We're located directly on U.S. Highway 16, roughly midway between Laramie and Cheyenne. The lodge sign is visible from the road — there's no misleading turn onto a dirt track. Cell service is limited; download your maps before you arrive.
